The NGF and DAI are working towards a collaboration to provide technical assistance. The Country Director, Mr Abah says it is important that Governors have a better understanding of revenue generation.
The DAI believes that it can provide support in a conversation led by NGF.
The Country Director added that there should also be a service delivery element. He hopes to fund two to three national bodies and have policy dialogues led by NGF. Plus, have peer learning experience opportunities. Mr Abah said that the technical assistance facility could be a base for NGF to support any state.
The Director General of the Secretariat, Mr Asishana B. Okauru said that there should be specific states deemed as focal states. He added that the states can benefit from having the assistance without necessarily having a particular office in their own state.
