President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, hosted governors and members of the federal executive council (FEC) for iftar.
The event was held at the statehouse in Abuja.
Present at the event included Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Kayode Fayemi, governor of Ekiti and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF); Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation; and Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff to the president.
Other governors in attendance included Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Aminu Masari of Katsina, Simon Lalong of Plateau, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Hope Uzodimma of Plateau, Godwin Obaseki of Edo, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos.
Also present were Mele Kyari, the group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited; Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum resources, Geoffrey Onyeama, minister of foreign affairs; and Olorunnimbe Mamora, minister for state for health.
